Job Description The Community Health and Housing Directorate
(DSCH)
includes, among others, the teams of the 29 IEPAs operated by IMAD. The IEPA team leaders are responsible for the care of tenants in these buildings, whose owners are public or private law foundations or municipal entities. Each IEPA team leader is responsible for up to 60 staff members. Your missions and responsibilities Lead and coordinate the decentralised activities of the IEPA service, under delegation from management, ensuring regular presence on sites and constant alignment with institutional policies and values Manage teams in accordance with HR policy, ensuring smooth daily operations, cohesion, and operational performance Provide an appropriate response to tenants’ needs for support, safety, and supervision, guaranteeing the quality and relevance of services Promote a client-oriented approach in all actions, favouring a focus on tenants’ needs and strengthening interdisciplinary practices and collaboration between services Organise, facilitate, and monitor teams across different buildings by structuring effective and results-oriented communication spaces Develop, implement, and ensure compliance with directives, procedures, and operating standards in heterogeneous environments Oversee the planning and execution of community actions within the IEPAs under your responsibility Manage budgeting and activity monitoring in collaboration with the administrative manager, respecting current procedures Lead, facilitate, and participate in institutional projects and cross-functional working groups within the IEPA directorate Collaborate with foundation owners, their principals, as well as cantonal and municipal partners, and ensure continuity of activities by substituting for other team leaders as needed.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in social work (HES)
or equivalent university qualifications accepted A university degree in management would be an asset Minimum 5 years’ experience in community health or social work Proven managerial experience
and ability to manage a multidisciplinary team of around sixty decentralised staff Interest in mobility within the canton
and managing diverse teams Ease and interest in managing several
decentralised activities
simultaneously Excellent organisational skills to ensure long-term activity monitoring Excellent communication and negotiation skills, good situational and relational intelligence Excellent knowledge of the Geneva health and social network.
