Health & Safety Manager (m/f/d) in Berlin

We are looking for a dedicated Health & Safety Manager who, with professional expertise, a sense of responsibility, and a keen eye for risks, will actively help shape and further develop our work environment. In this role, you will be responsible for occupational safety, health, and environmental protection issues. You will help ensure smooth and safe operations within the company and support the team on various health and safety matters. • Coordination of external safety consultants
• Assistance in ensuring compliance with German occupational safety and health laws, guidelines, and company policies
• Analysis of accidents and statistics
• Development of prevention programs to avoid accidents
• Collaboration and consultation on fire safety, emergency procedures, evacuation, and other related matters
• Organizing, preparing, and conducting ASA meetings and regular employee briefings, as well as training sessions on occupational safety and health
• Conducting regular facility inspections, including documentation
• Providing safety-related advice on the design of workstations and work processes
• Preparation and updating of hazard and exposure analyses in accordance with the Occupational Safety and Health Act
• Coordination and collaboration with the local fire department, occupational safety and health authorities, the workers’ compensation association, and the occupational physician
• Projects related to occupational safety, health protection, and environmental protection

Your profile:

• Training in a technical field
• Additional qualifications in occupational safety, fire safety, environmental protection, or hazardous materials are desirable
• At least 3 years of professional experience in the health and safety department of an industrial company
• Strong ability to work in a team
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Strong coordination and organizational skills
• Very good command of German and good command of English
• Hands-on approach
• Analytical, structured, and results-oriented thinking and action
