The role involves taking full ownership of the deal process, including commercial and financial due diligence, and collaborating closely with founders and internal stakeholders. Additionally, you will develop and implement our investment strategy through market analyses, manage portfolios with performance and impact tracking, and support portfolio companies in areas such as fundraising and scaling. Responsibilities Identify and evaluate promising startups in focus areas like climate and energy, natural ecosystems, and social stability. Manage the entire deal process, including due diligence, and work closely with founders and internal stakeholders. Develop and implement our investment strategy through market analyses. Manage portfolio, including performance and impact tracking, reporting, and operational support. Build and maintain a strong network with founders, investors, and stakeholders. Mentor junior team members and contribute to a collaborative and high-performance team culture. Requirements A completed university degree in a STEM field (e.g., engineering, physics, chemistry). 4–6 years of professional experience, with at least 2–4 years in venture capital, impact investing, or as an operator in a startup or scale-up. Demonstrated successes in leading investment processes, from sourcing through due diligence to deal execution and portfolio management. Strong network within the venture capital, startup, and impact investing ecosystem. Excellent communication skills in German and English. Outstanding analytical skills and a sharp eye for detail in company and market analyses. Solid knowledge and strong affinity for current trends and developments in the impact investing environment.
