Consumer Finance Business Partner (m/f/d)

The Role

We are seeking a Consumer Finance Business Partner to join our dynamic team. This role acts as the strategic co-pilot to the Global Consumer Office and Consumer Marketing teams. Reporting directly to the Finance Director Cluster DACH, the successful candidate will support proactive commercial collaboration, driving revenue growth and expanding margins.

The role involves optimizing marketing investments, assessing ROI, and reviewing business cases with an objective perspective. It starts with understanding consumer needs, ensuring financial strategies align with consumer behaviors. As a key business partner, you will build strong relationships with marketing stakeholders, translating financial insights into actionable plans that enhance performance.

Principal Accountabilities

1. Provide financial guidance for strategic initiatives such as pricing, product launches, and market expansion.
2. Evaluate business cases and assess returns to inform investment decisions.
3. Support brand financial performance reviews and identify opportunities for margin and profitability improvements.
4. Measure promotional effectiveness and develop best practices.
5. Collaborate with marketing, insights, and commercial teams to identify growth and efficiency opportunities.
6. Assist in financial planning cycles, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance updates.

Skills and Experience Required

• Professional finance qualification (e.g., CIMA, ACCA, ACA, MBA, or equivalent).
• Experience in financial planning, support, and cross-functional business partnering.
• Ability to interpret consumer and market data into practical financial insights.
• Strong skills in financial modeling, scenario planning, and investment evaluation.
• Proficiency in tools such as SAP, Anaplan, Power BI, Excel, and MicroStrategy.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across diverse stakeholder groups.
