About us: Imperial Brands/Reemtsma
The traditional Hamburg company Reemtsma is part of the British Imperial Brands PLC and the second largest company in the overall German tobacco market. Reemtsma and the Hamburg location play a central role in the group.
The Sales & Marketing departments for Germany, Austria and Switzerland are looked after here. In addition, parts of the globally active group divisions Global Supply Chain, Logistics and Purchasing are managed from here. The Reemtsma plant in Langenhagen near Hanover is also one of the most important production sites of the entire Imperial Group.
In the field of classic tobacco cigarettes and fine cut, Reemtsma’s portfolio includes internationally renowned brands such as John Player Special, Gauloises, West and Davidoff. With its e-cigarette brand blu, Reemtsma is also one of the innovation drivers in Germany for novel products with potentially significantly lower health risks than conventional tobacco products. In addition, the Nordic markets and the portfolio of modern chewing tobacco products and tobacco-free nicotine pouches there are controlled from Hamburg.
