Overview In this role you will promote a strong HSE culture on data center projects, ensure compliance with Swiss regulations and Implenia standards, and collaborate with management, subcontractors and clients to keep safety the priority. You will conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations while contributing to continuous HSE improvements. The position offers working in Opfikon and project sites in the Zurich region with a focus on mission-critical construction. This is your chance to shape safety practices on major data center builds. Leistungen / Benefits multicultural working environment modern technologies and workplace professional development opportunities financially solid employer flexible working up to 40% from home extensive travel insurance with household cover Verantwortungsbereiche Promote and drive a strong HSE culture across the Data Center project Conduct site inspections, audits and risk assessments to identify hazards and implement preventive actions Monitor and support subcontractors on HSE standards, including inductions, permits to work, toolbox talks, RAMS/WMS reviews and documentation Investigate incidents, near misses and unsafe conditions, perform root cause analyses and support improvement measures Deliver HSE training and daily safety briefings, advise stakeholders, and improve HSE processes and site documentation Zentrale Anforderungen Several years of EHS experience on large-scale construction projects (pharma, industrial, infrastructure or Data Center) Strong knowledge of construction safety management, risk assessment, contractor management, and permit-to-work systems (General Contractor level) Confident communicator with ability to engage with workforce, subcontractors and management to foster safety culture Ability to work independently and in a team Fluent in English; German a strong advantage Relevant EHS certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, SUVA, ISO 45001) desirable confident communicator team player independent worker risk assessment methodologies permit-to-work systems RAMS/WMS reviews
