What you are best known for

1. 2+ years of post-PhD experience creating engaging, research-driven science content or scripts outside academia
2. Exceptional storytelling and writing skills, with the ability to turn complex topics into engaging, easy-to-understand narratives
3. A completed PhD in a STEM discipline, preferably Physics, esp. Astrophysics
4. Demonstrated track record of communicating complex scientific concepts to broad audiences through writing, scripting or other editorial work
5. Able to work independently from initial idea through to polished script draft
6. Excellent research skills and experience working with scientific literature
7. Ability to familiarize yourself quickly and thoroughly with a wide range of topics
8. Passion for science communication and educational storytelling that has a positive impact on potentially millions of people
9. Fluent English skills, German is a plus
