Description: This postdoctoral position delves into the synthesis and application of Cyanophycin-Esters, derived from Cyanophycin (CP), a nitrogen-rich biopolymer. Through esterification, CP is transformed into a versatile polycationic polymer with diverse applications. The research aims to optimize cyanophycin extraction and esterification processes, creating cyanophycin-esters with varied functionalities. The selected candidate will collaborate within multidisciplinary teams to explore applications in medical, pharmaceutical, and industrial fields.
