Day to Day

Indeed helps people get jobs; the Bidding Optimization team maximizes value for job seekers and employers, crucially enhancing matching opportunities. Indeed’s Bidding Optimization team maximizes employer value from sponsored products, optimizing recruiting and advertising budgets to meet hiring targets. We align customer goals and constraints with job seeker insights to develop algorithms for matching candidates with suitable roles.

Responsibilities

1. Work with cross-functional managers for a cohesive product vision aligned with Indeed’s goals.
2. Drive engineers and scientists to optimize budget and improve the Indeed marketplace through data-driven experimentation.
3. Execute roadmap by driving requirements, partnering with business partners, and designing A/B tests with engineers.
4. Utilize data and market research to inform product strategies meeting internal and external customer needs.

Skills/Competencies

1. 6+ years of product management experience with bidding/matching systems, advertising technology, marketplace optimization, or feedback control systems.
2. Excellent written and verbal communication in English across both technical and non-technical audiences.
3. Proven in aligning team vision with business goals and setting measurable product goals to track progress toward priorities.
4. Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, or equivalent experience.
5. Outstanding data analysis, data-driven decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

Salary Range Transparency

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Indeed salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Indeed’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include quarterly bonuses, Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), a Paid Time Off policy, and many region-specific benefits.
