Overview
As a Pre-Sales Technical Architect in Europe, you will translate customer problems into compelling tech and service designs that drive winning proposals. You will lead technical sales activities, build strong relationships with stakeholders, and coordinate bid-related technical work across Europe. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions meet customer objectives while showcasing Motorola’s public-safety technology portfolio. This role offers a meaningful impact by shaping how safety missions are enabled through integrated solutions.
Verantwortungsbereiche
- Engage with customers to understand problems and requirements and demonstrate deep domain knowledge
- Perform requirements analysis to identify compelling technology offerings
- Design technology and service-based solutions with high-level designs and BOMs, and manage design reviews
- Present solution designs and implementation options to customers using theory and practical experience
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., MoI, MoD)
- Demonstrate Motorola products and solutions to customers
- Support procurement by obtaining and evaluating quotations from 3rd party vendors
- Lead all technical sales activities for assigned opportunities
- Collaborate with the bid team to align with customer objectives and strategy
- Provide Pre-Sales support for Europe (including non-EU countries)
- Travel up to 25% to MSI sites and customer locations in Europe
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Bachelor in Communications, Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar
- 2+ years in a Pre-Sales technical role including tender answering
- Strong written and spoken English; German mandatory
- Ability to build solid working relationships and work with minimal supervision
- Motorola Solutions product portfolio experience or relevant competitor experience desirable
- Experience in complex systems integration with significant 3rd party content and RF/broadband domains desirable
