Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review and negotiate various commercial contracts and agreements.
- Manage legal documentation for all entities within the organization.
- Provide accurate, relevant and timely advice on a variety of legal issues.
- Manage and mitigate legal risk through the development and implementation of corporate policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with laws and regulations applicable to our business, including export control and sanction regimes, data protection, employment and anti-corruption laws.
- Liaise with senior management.
- Manage external counsels.
- Manage public relations efforts to enhance the company’s reputation and build strong relationships with media and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Degree in Law from law schools in Switzerland, Europe or a common law jurisdiction.
- At least 5 years‘ post-qualification experience working in-house or in a leading law firm.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Good business acumen is a plus.
- Ability to communicate complex legal issues and risks in a way that non-legal colleagues can understand.
- Ability to work in a highly independent manner.
- Excellent written and spoken English and French required.
