Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role
- Define technical specifications for future digital DC‑DC controllers by gathering insights from customers, market trends, and application requirements across AI computing, data centers, servers, and telecom.
- Contribute innovative concepts and ideas for product architecture and performance enhancements.
- Perform product‑to‑system validation, including hardware design, system verification planning, and test reporting.
- Create technical product collateral such as application notes, whitepapers, evaluation boards, simulation models, and training material.
- Engage directly with customers to support successful design‑ins and secure design‑wins.
- Collaborate with customers to resolve technical challenges and lead failure analysis for returned components when needed.
Your Profile
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed
- A university degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
- At least 6 years of experience in Design Engineering, Applications Engineering, and/or Customer Support.
- Deep knowledge of semiconductor design, system applications, and power supply control techniques, especially in high power density DC‑DC and modules.
- Hands‑on experience with digital controllers, drivers, power devices and magnetics in switch mode power supply.
- Familiarity with safety standards, EMI compliance, and PCB design tools (Altium or Allegro).
- Proficiency in using simulation tools to model and validate complex systems.
- Fluency in English, German is a plus.
