In your new role, you'll be a key player in our system engineering team, supporting especially the area of software for automotive and industrial microcontrollers. Hereby existing solutions need to be implemented with new hardware, gaps to be identified and solutions to be proven. Key responsibilities
Strengthen Infineon’s ability to define and deliver next-generation motor drive solutions for humanoid robots Adapt existing software solutions to new motor control hardware Investigate and report gaps in motor control firmware related to humanoid robotics Analyze and understand motor control software on system level, aiming for system level improvement Work with hardware specialists to ensure first time right designs Measure and evaluate the performance of motor control firmware in our lab Your Profile
You combine technical know-how with precision and a keen eye for quality. Your ability to communicate clearly and work seamlessly with cross‑functional teams helps you to stay aligned and effective – even under pressure. Qualifications and skills
A degree (university/university of applied sciences) in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, Control Engineering or a related field At least 1-3 years of experience in Embedded Systems Engineering Solid understanding of PMSM/BLDC machines Hands‑on experience with lab debug equipment, such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzers, protocol analyzers Proficiency in C (need to develop/modify/debug code for microcontroller) Strong English skills; German is a plus Optional: Mechanical or PCB design experience Benefits
