An Advanced Quality Engineer primary goal is to identify and mitigate potential quality risks, improve overall quality, and optimize processes to meet customer requirements and industry standards.
Supports the module (short, long flow, transfer) and technology development projects from early stages to ensure the module and process quality requirements. Contributes to proactive complaint reduction and deviation prevention by providing the quality requirements and addressing of early detected risk and deviations. Drives/owns quality projects with contribution to quality performance and efficiency.
In your new role you will:
Transfer/Technology/Package Projects:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions
- Through Risk Assessment / P-FMEA process you identify, evaluate, and mitigate potential risks that could impact the quality of products, processes, or services.
- Organize Quality characterization and validation planning followed by data analysis
- Analyze data and metrics to measure quality performance and identify trends
- Define and drive Safe Launch activities in projects
- Create Pre-launch control plans for new/transferred processes
- Develop/review of fail criteria’s, Clarification of product requirements.
- Understanding the customer requirements and translate to process and product requirements
Continuous improvement projects:
- Product and process complexity decrease (flexibility increase, harmonization)
- Quality process development activities (poke yoke, digitalization, harmonization)
- Reduce the quality risks in production proactively.
- Providing training and guidance to employees on quality procedures and best practices
- Developing and implementing quality management systems, processes, and procedures
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and standards to ensure compliance
Strong communication and collaboration skills are required, along with the ability to be self-directed and autonomous when necessary. The ability to facilitate technical teams is also essential, as is an analytical way of thinking and an understanding of complex technical processes. Additionally, systems-based thinking is necessary to effectively navigate and manage technical systems.
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- University / college degree (specializing in technical field is advantage)
- Min 3-5 experience in engineering field (quality, product, process)
- Knowledge of quality tools (FMEA, 8D, Control plan, Statistical tools)
- Manufacturing experience (advantage power module production)
- Fluency in English (mandatory)
