Business Development Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Specialist in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam. As a key member of our business development team, you will play a crucial role in driving growth and maximizing revenue from our existing and new customer base, with a focus on nurturing relationships with key stakeholders and scaling our business in the region. Your primary objective will be to prioritize, hunt, nurture, and scale our rising star customer base, while collaborating with internal stakeholders to drive growth and maximize design sockets.

Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

• Identification and scouting for scalable customers and opportunities
  • Involve prospecting, qualifying leads, and coordinating with the mass market sales team, distribution channels to convert leads into new customers
  • Scout “untapped” customers with scalable potentials for I2C3 segments (Industrial, Infrastructure, Consumer, Computing & Communication)
  • Map cross-selling with key KPIs and increase in pipelines to grow base in Vietnam
  • Go wide to expand new mass market customer base in deep collaboration with the distribution sales team, inside sales and distribution partners
  • Utilize and maximize both existing and new channels including market analysis and intelligence, news, networking and inside sales
• Shaping the Market
  • Identify market shaping opportunities that will help to strengthen Infineon branding in Vietnam
  • Scout for collaborative opportunities by building strategic partnerships and alliances with universities, ecosystem partners and ministries in Vietnam
• Market & Applications Scoping
  • Identify new & growth opportunities, focus application trends in country, setting targets, and implementing strategies to achieve growth targets
  • Involve assessing the potential impact of disruptive technologies and integrating them into the organization\’s growth strategies for Vietnam
  • Establish ecosystem understanding in-country and drive tactics to develop for the mid- to long-term business success for I2C3

Your Profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

• Degree in engineering or any relevant fields
• Proficiency in English and Vietnamese language (both written and spoken), preferably with background in engineering & technology
• Good knowledge and proven experience in using digital tools (AI) for both work and research
• Capability and openness to travel within Vietnam, due to business requirements for customer and partner engagements
