Job Description

  • Interact with Tier 1 suppliers at different levels (including top executive level and department level decision-makers). Be the owner of Tier 1 customers and drive various activities at Tier 1 to achieve business outcomes with different internal/external stakeholders. Drive and implement the Tier 1 engagement strategy, including setting up and managing strategic cooperation with target Tier 1 suppliers; driving and leading the directed buy or influencing Tier 1 sourcing strategy; being a trusted advisor to Tier 1s on semiconductor solutions as well as an intrapreneur for the customer to orchestrate cross-team engagements and activities to win not only business but also the customer\’s trust.
  • Bridge Tier 1 customers with Infineon\’s product-to-system automotive semiconductor solutions, winning opportunities and sockets directly at Tier 1s or through the supply chain.
  • Manage the relationship between target Tier 1 suppliers and Infineon ATV division, ensuring access to key decision-makers within the Tier 1 for both technical and commercial topics.
  • Develop Tier 1 strategy and orchestrate different levels of engagement with Tier 1 by leveraging Infineon\’s automotive strength and position.
  • Understand Tier 1 organization, customer strategy, as well as supply chain structure. Follow the development plan of Tier 1 platforms and modules.
  • Develop innovative ways to form binding relationships with Tier 1 customers. Establish and manage joint development projects with segment teams, disti, as well as Infineon preferred design houses.
  • Build and manage a pipeline of business development opportunities with each Tier 1, ensuring that this pipeline is communicated and supported across different stakeholders both at the technical and commercial levels.

Your Profile
You are best equipped for this task if you have:

  • 10+ years of experience in semiconductor industry or automotive industry.
  • Excellent organizational skill to foster teamwork and interact/communicate with a diverse range of business functions, organizational levels and cultures.
  • Excellent communication capability with listening comprehensive, including spoken and written fluency in English and Mandarin
  • Collaborative work effort; a strong team player with speed, taking risks and driving to deliver results
  • Proactive, self-driven person with strong problem-solving skills and strategic thinking
