Your Role
As an Environment, Health and Safety Team Lead, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees, protecting the environment, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements. You will lead and manage a team of EHS professionals, driving strategic initiatives and implementing best practices to foster safety and environmental responsibility.

Key responsibilities in your new role

• Lead and manage the EHS team, including team development, task prioritization, and coordination of management reviews
• Fulfill tasks via SLA, including updating contracts and performing services
• Ensure legal and ISO standard compliance, drive audit activities, and organize internal and external audits
• Implement best practices from other Infineon sites, participate in workshops and expert meetings, and representation of our site
• Develop EHS competencies and trainings for the team and other colleagues on site
• Manage EHS related site budget and monitoring, including planning and monitoring costs and investments
• Coordinate with service providers, drive crisis teams, and prepare regular reports and management reviews
• Act as the main contact person for authorities and external stakeholders on EHS issues
• Support projects and initiatives to improve EHS performance and culture within the organization

Your Profile
You are a team leader with strong communication and analytical skills, able to coordinate work, solve problems, and focus on quality. You have a proactive mindset and are able to make things better, faster, and more efficient.

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

• Advanced certification in occupational safety, fire protection, or environmental protection
• Management experience and leadership skills
• Knowledge of the legal environment and English/German language
• Upper degree in a related field and independent working style with good problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on quality and excellence
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and motivate others
• Experience with EHS management systems and standards, such as ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001
• Ability to analyze complex data and develop effective solutions to EHS challenges.
