The Automotive Division designs, develops and produces innovative semiconductor solutions for the car’s powertrain, safety management as well as body and convenience. As a High Power FAE we will provide you the opportunity to work on innovative automotive applications in our HP team at Infineon. Your main focus applications will be the Main Inverter, on xEV. You will mainly support our main customers during the evaluation and development of their systems. You will develop deep insights into the features of our IGBT modules, Discrete IGBT/SiC and drivers, sensor understand how these devices can optimally be used in customer systems on Functional Safety with customers on optimal solutions.
Your role
Key responsibilities in your new role
- Provide technical support of Infineon high power products (discrete, module devices) with Si/SiC/GaN technologies, gate drivers in xEV related applications – Traction Inverter in PV and CAV will be the focus.
- Collaborate with sales as the first contact window of Infineon automotive customer
- Sell and promote Infineon automotive products and differentiating features/solutions to customers to win more business
Your profile
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed
- Bachelor/Master degree in power electronics, electric engineering.
- 5+ years working experience in automotive semiconductors or related applications.
- Hands-on experience on Si/SiC in xEV applications such as traction inverter.
- Good system knowhow in motor control, traction inverter design etc.
- Solid knowhow of power electronics device physics (Si, SiC. GaN etc), electrical, packaging, thermal evaluation etc
- EMC/EMI experience is preferred
- Concept of ISO26262 is preferred
- Good customer communication/presentation skills,
- Fluently speaking & writing in English
- Teamwork, High level of self-discipline and innovative
- Willingness to travel
