Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role
As HR Country Head, you will strongly contribute to the operational and business strategies for Romania and Serbia under an overarching HR responsibility.
- Translate the country strategy into a local people strategy within an HR-overarching responsibility on country level and working closely with HR global functions
- Occasionally take on a local HR Business Partner role for parts of the organization, providing ideas, tools, data, and diagnostics to business executives
- Strongly contribute to decision-making on corporate HR topics and proactively address critical operational and people challenges with the respective HR global functions
- Ensure the transfer of all transactional tasks to HR People Services
- Own governance for legally related HR topics, collaborating closely with corporate HR as needed
- Manage stakeholder relationships with educational institutions, political bodies, and HR communities, representing both Infineon and HR
- Participate in industry workgroups (e.g., labor law, social security law) and contribute as a panelist or speaker at HR events
- Legally lead the local HR organizations and ensure the HR colleagues collaborate effectively
Your Profile
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed
You bring strong influencing skills supported by solid local insights, and a results-oriented mindset with a proven track record of consistent policy execution. You demonstrate strong problem-solving skills across HR topics, combined with the ability to foster strong collaboration and alignment across HR teams. You show high cultural intelligence and remain resilient, calm, and effective under pressure.
- A university degree in labor law, business administration, psychology, or a similar field, combined with at least 12 years of relevant experience across various HR functions in a multi-national environment
- Strong HR Business Partner capabilities, including organizational diagnosis, data-driven insights, and executive advising
- Deep knowledge of Romanian labor law and a good understanding of Serbian labor law as a plus, with the ability to govern legally relevant HR processes and ensure compliance
- Strong experience working with collective labor agreements (CLA), as well as participation in industry workgroups related to labor and social security law
- Proven ability to work effectively in matrix structures (functional and local legal reporting)
- Confidence in acting as a spokesperson within HR communities, and the education ecosystem, representing the organization externally
- Fluent in English and Romanian
