Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role
Contribute to the design and implementation of a modular robot hardware architecture while gaining hands-on experience in embedded systems and intelligent control design.
- Experience research: Conduct literature research on existing solutions and state-of-the-art hardware system architectures for robotics
- Take responsibility: Build a flexible hardware platform for robot applications based on multiple MCUs and sensors, and develop the corresponding C code
- Shape the future: Work on the development of new features and functions, optionally integrating AI/ML techniques
- Identify needs: Create concise test reports, document code, and present results along with improvement suggestions for the system architecture
Your Profile
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed
You are a motivated student with a strong technical foundation and an enthusiasm for robotics and embedded development.
- Study field: Currently studying Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Experience: Background in embedded systems with hands-on experience in programming microcontrollers and using microcontroller peripherals; ideally experienced with modeling and simulation tools
- Skills: Strong understanding of digital design and computer architecture fundamentals, advanced programming skills in C, and confidence working with microcontrollers or comparable DSPs
- Knowledge: Basic understanding of AI/ML techniques is a plus
- Personality: Proactive, analytical, and eager to explore innovative hardware solutions
- Language skills: Fluent in English, both written and spoken; German is a plus
