Job Description

• Experience research: You will design and produce PCBs (schematics, layout, assembly) for the tests of our trapped ion quantum computing (TIQC) application specific integrated circuits (ASICs) including a casing in 3D CAD software
• Expand your horizons: You will learn about circuit design, PCB design, 3D CAD and assembly
• Being strong together: You will be part of a research team consisting of industry and academic partners
• Complex knowledge: You will gain understanding of trapped ion quantum computer systems

Your Profile

• Study field: You are currently studying Electrical Engineering, Physics or similar
• Experience: You have a background in circuit design or PCB design, 3D CAD software as a bonus
• Interests: You have a high interest on the scientific research combined with the passion for working in the quantum computing field
• Way of working: You are a highly motivated individual striving for in-depth understanding of test development for trapped ion quantum computing; prior knowledge of trapped ions is a plus
• Personality: You enjoy networking, working with different professions and have broad communication skills
• Language skills: You have fluent English skills, both written and spoken, German language skills are a plus
