This position is part of the newly established Data Analytics & Reporting Team within HR Digital, which belongs to HR People Services. In your new role you will:
- Evaluate, apply analytical methods and tools (e.g., regression models/GLM, simulations, machine learning) to generate actionable diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive insights.
- Collaborate with HR Global Functional Teams (GFT) (e.g., Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, Organizational Effectiveness) to develop scalable analytical approaches across a variety of use cases.
- Contribute to making HR a data-driven organization by interpreting and communicating insights clearly to stakeholders and provide data-driven decision support to HR business partners and leaders.
- Identify and prepare relevant data sets to explore opportunities to enhance data quality and collection, and prepare data (e.g., using Tableau Prep Builder) for visualization.
- Identify innovative data science practices and defining data requirements.
- Document methodologies and best practices, and support the upskilling of key stakeholders through knowledge sharing.
- Actively contribute to the growth of our Data Scientist Community.
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
As a Data Scientist, you quickly absorb information, analyze it from multiple perspectives, and uncover meaningful patterns. You maintain a strategic view even in complex situations and support decision-making in uncertain environments. You are a collaborative team player who builds strong relationships with stakeholders.
- A degree focused on empirical or statistical methods, such as Economics, Computer Science, Machine Learning, Mathematics, or Statistics; ideally a Master’s degree.
- 4–6 years of relevant experience in applying analytics in a business context.
- Strong expertise in advanced analytical methods and the ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations.
- Solid experience in empirical social research methods (e.g., regression models/GLM, NLP, ML).
- Proficiency in Python or R and relevant libraries, along with hands-on experience using data visualization tools such as Tableau and Tableau Prep Builder.
- Experience leading or coordinating data science projects, ideally with exposure to People Analytics (a plus, but not required).
- Excellent command of English.
