Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

• Engage with sales and marketing teams to identify gaps in Infineon’s current software portfolio, ensuring alignment with market demands and customer needs
• Develop partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to accelerate software enablement, prioritizing initiatives that yield significant impact on the Infineon ecosystem
• Conduct comprehensive market analysis to identify emerging trends and technologies in the IoT and semiconductor industries, leveraging insights to inform software strategy
• Facilitate cross-functional workshops and ideation sessions to generate and refine business ideas that bolster Infineon’s software ecosystem and drive customer adoption
• Ensure the integration of ready-to-use software products that simplify the deployment of Infineon hardware in customer applications, enhancing ease of use and system efficiency
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of Infineon’s product-to-systems approach by advocating for software solutions that align with energy efficiency and security priorities

Your Profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

As an Ideation Manager- Software Ventures, you will vet and identify software opportunities that enhance the functionality of Infineon hardware, focusing on embedded code across firmware, middleware, and application layers. You will collaborate closely with fellow ideation managers possessing diverse technical and commercial expertise to drive innovative software ventures that expand our product ecosystem.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, with a strong understanding of embedded systems and microcontrollers
• 3+ years of experience in software development or product management within the semiconductor or IoT industries, focusing on embedded code and system integration
• Proven track record of identifying and developing software solutions that enhance hardware functionality, particularly in embedded systems
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technical and commercial stakeholders, to drive product innovation and ecosystem growth
• Experience in conducting market analysis and leveraging insights to inform strategic decisions in software portfolio expansion
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify gaps in existing software offerings and propose impactful solutions
• Familiarity with the software development lifecycle and the ability to manage projects from ideation to deployment, ensuring alignment with company goals
• Experience in working with IoT applications and understanding of energy efficiency and security priorities in software development
• Familiarity with Infineon’s product portfolio and the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and market trends
• Prior experience in facilitating workshops or ideation sessions to drive innovation and foster collaborative environments
• Knowledge of partnership development with internal and external stakeholders to enhance software enablement and deployment
