Key responsibilities in your new role
Strategic Leadership
- Lead and develop a team of 8+ skilled engineers, fostering technical excellence, innovation, and collaboration
- Define and execute the ATE Hardware Design roadmap, delivering scalable test solutions for current and future Automotive Microcontroller platforms
- Champion digitalisation, automation, and AI-enabled engineering practices to improve productivity, quality, and execution speed
Team Leadership
- Build a high-performance culture focused on innovation, accountability, continuous learning, and employee engagement
- Set clear objectives and expectations, ensuring delivery excellence while supporting talent development and career growth
- Establish strong partnerships with suppliers and industry stakeholders to leverage external expertise and best practices
- Collaborate across Product Engineering, Test Engineering, Design, Manufacturing, and Quality to ensure successful product execution
Your profile
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Microelectronics, or a related technical discipline
- 10+ years of experience in the semiconductor industry, preferably in Automotive Microcontrollers, Product Engineering, Test Engineering, or related domains
- Proven expertise in ATE Test Hardware development, with end-to-end lifecycle understanding from requirements definition and design through qualification, buy-off, and production deployment
- Strong knowledge of industry-standard ATE platforms (e.g., Advantest, Teradyne, or equivalent); hands-on experience is a significant advantage
Leadership & Interpersonal Skills
- Proven leadership experience managing multidisciplinary and multicultural engineering teams, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders across organisational levels
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, able to inspire teams, build consensus, and drive change
Additional Competencies
- Passion for innovation and continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and organisational effectiveness
- Knowledge of AI, Machine Learning (ML), or advanced data analytics applied to Test Hardware development is a strong plus
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
