Job Description
In your new role you will:
- Responsible for sourcing activities and aim for company’s objective in optimizing Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) through collaboration with production operations, planning and category management.
- Drive cost saving, improve supplier quality, and enhance supplier performance for facility management, including building and construction projects, IT HW and other central services
- Identifying and implementing cost-saving initiatives, such as consolidation of suppliers, renegotiation of contracts, and implementation of efficient procurement processes.
- Manage the tendering process, including preparing and issuing tenders, evaluating bids, and negotiating contracts/agreements with suppliers, ensuring that terms and conditions are favorable to the company
- Maintain supply resilience and recovery management, identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to minimize the impact to operations. This involves working with cross functional teams to assess the risks and impact of various events such as force majeure, supplier disruptions etc.
- Build and maintain relationships with industry suppliers, including contractors, vendors, and service providers, to ensure best-in-class services and competitive pricing.
- Monitor and track KPI performance related to cost, delivery, and quality. Utilize company system to generate data analysis and identify areas for improvement. Work with stakeholders and category managers to develop action plans to achieve targets, monitor progress and drive continuous improvement
Your Profile
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in a relevant field, such as construction management, engineering, or business administration.
- 10 years of experience in procurement, preferably in facility management or construction.
- Proven experience in building and construction, including knowledge of industry vendors, tendering, and contract management.
- Excellent negotiation and contract management skills, with the ability to negotiate complex contracts and agreements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with vendors, stakeholders, and colleagues
