Job Description

• Experience research: You will perform literature review on LC-VCO architectures, phase noise reduction and the relevant compensation techniques
• Shape the future: You will optimize and design an on-chip spiral inductor using EM simulation tools, integrated in Cadence Virtuoso (eg. Momentum)
• Reliable work: You will design the LC-VCO at the schematic level in Cadence Virtuoso, integrating the EM-verified inductor model

Your Profile

• Study field: You are currently studying a Master’s in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering or similar
• Skills: You have a solid background with Analog Circuit Design and EM simulation tools, as well as hands-on experience with Cadence Virtuoso
• Way of working: You have a strong analytical and problem-solving approach, along with documentation skills
• Personality: You have great curiosity and openness to explore novel or unusual design approaches, that advance the state of the art
• Language skills: You have good English skills, both written and spoken. German is a plus
