Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role
As a Network Security Engineer – Operational Technology & Manufacturing, you will play a key role in our Operational Technology team within Corporate Cyber Security & Privacy. You’ll define security requirements and architectural guidelines for OT network infrastructures, including segmentation, zoning, conduits and isolation concepts.
- Define OT network security reference architectures and blueprints covering firewalls, segmentation, jump hosts, remote access pathways, and protected data flows
- Specify requirements for secure remote access solutions, ensuring appropriate authentication, authorization, auditing, and monitoring criteria
- Define security requirements for secure file transfer and file sharing processes between IT and OT environments, including malware scanning, content inspection, approval workflows, and logging expectations
- Develop OT Identity & Access Management (IAM) requirements, including RBAC models, privileged access controls, authentication methods (e.g.,MFA), and certificate/key lifecycle guidelines aligned with global identity systems
- Conduct architectural security assessments, risk analyses, and requirement validations for OT infrastructure initiatives and programs; document outcomes and acceptance criteria
- Provide expert guidance and design reviews to production stakeholders, IT and network teams, and external partners to ensure alignment with OT security standards and enterprise cybersecurity architecture
- Identify enhancements to OT infrastructure security controls, recommend suitable technologies or processes (e.g., Zero Trust principles and micro segmentation patterns), and formalize security concepts
Your Profile

You excel at building strong relationships and fostering collaboration across teams, functions, and regions, aligning efforts to achieve shared goals and drive meaningful outcomes, while leveraging strong communication skills to navigate multiple interfaces and working proactively to identify, take ownership of, and drive initiatives independently.
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field
- At least 5 years of experience in cybersecurity and network security, including several years within OT or industrial production environments being a plus
- Strong expertise in network security technologies such as firewalls, secure switching, routing, VPN, VLAN, and segmentation frameworks (ISA/IEC 62443 preferred)
- Hands-on experience defining requirements for secure remote access, OT DMZ patterns, and secure file exchange between IT and OT
- Experience with IAM concepts – including RBAC, privileged access management, identity federation, and certificate/key management – combined with knowledge of industrial systems, OT protocols (e.g., OPC UA,Modbus, Profinet), and their security needs
- Strong understanding of manufacturing constraints: high availability, long asset life cycles, patching limitations, and safety considerations impacting security design
- Fluency in English (mandatory)
