Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

• Manages manufacturing and/or production operations including assembly, machinery, processing and/or packaging.
• Sets production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, materials supply, staffing resources, and volume required to meet demand and to ensure maximum production quantity and quality.

Innovation

• Observes and proactively acts on trends in own domain of expertise
• Has a sense of urgency for upcoming innovation and supports feasibility studies
• Collaboratively creates and supports innovative ideas in own domain of expertise
• Investigates new ideas, considering alternatives and drives active risk management

Business Impact

• Represents technical competence of own domain of expertise within own BL/Functional Area
• Has measurable impact on BL/Functional Area business value
• Implementation of strategy within own domain of expertise
• Contribution to IP strategy in own domain of expertise

Thought Leadership

• Drives technical decisions for BL/Functional Area and executes implementation
• Demonstrates active knowledge transfer and best practice sharing across organizational boundaries
• Is known within own domain of expertise within IFX
• Has a network in own domain of expertise and relevant community

Problem Solving

• Has proven ability to solve problems with higher complexity involving expert networks
• Exploits deviations in order to support continuous improvement ensuring that IFX stands out as quality leader (zero defects)
• Supports problem solving, generates analysis and hypothesis, draws conclusions out of own analysis and derives lessons learned

Technical Knowledge

• Has deep technical understanding, actively acquires and applies the latest knowledge

Your Profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing or production operations.
• Strong knowledge of assembly, machinery, processing, and/or packaging operations.
• Proven ability to manage production schedules based on capacity, materials, and resource availability.
• Deep technical understanding within the manufacturing domain, with the ability to apply the latest knowledge.
• Demonstrated experience in problem‑solving and handling complex technical issues using expert networks.
• Strong capability in continuous improvement and driving zero‑defect quality initiatives.
• Experience contributing to innovation, evaluating feasibility, and adopting new ideas in the technical area.
• Effective communicator with strong collaboration skills and experience sharing best practices across teams.
• Ability to influence technical decisions and support strategy execution within the functional area.
