Your Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated professional to join our team. In this role, you will develop, maintain and improve software applications, while working collaboratively with global teams to drive success and deliver results.

Key responsibilities in your new role:

• Assist in development to extend and improve the existing OT (Operational Technology) software applications, with focus on automation, stability, maintainability and performance
• Support implementation to automate processes
• Preparation and execution of application tests
• Creation of end-user documentation and training material
• Collaboration within a global team

Optional:

• Ensuring the operational operation of the OT software applications in second level application support
• Evaluating and improving the tools and frameworks used in software development

Your Profile
You are a great problem solver with strong analytical abilities, who can work well independently. With a technical foundation in IT and enthusiasm for software development, you are dedicated to learn and adapt to a dynamic and multinational environment.

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed:

• A degree in Computer Science, Informatics or similar or proven hands-on work experience in software development
• Basic understanding of software development principles and methodologies
• Good knowledge on Linux / Unix-based systems (user-level)
• Good programming skills in Python or similar languages
• Experience with databases (design and usage), e. g. MySQL or MS SQL
• Good English skills
• Basic understanding of HTML, PHP and JavaScript
• Willingness to learn and grow in a collaborative environment

Nice to have:

• Experience with scripting like Linux Bash and/or Windows PowerShell
• Experience in integration of various kind of systems (REST APIs, web services, etc.)
• Capability to work independently and responsible, as well as in cross-site teams in an international environment
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
