As a Senior Application Engineer, you’ll help shape the future of humanoid robots by developing motor control and battery management solutions — from proof of concepts to reference designs. In your new role you will:

• Collaborate on the creation of reference designs (hardware and/or software), prototypes, models and system evaluation tools
• Assists in providing solutions for new applications by combining existing products and ideas for application roadmaps and go-to-market activities
• Create technical articles, application notes and represent at tradeshows and external forums
• Define and execute application-relevant measurements and testing
• Debug technical issues on embedded hardware, firmware and software, reporting relevant findings and providing work arounds
• Acquire knowledge and methodology in system design, trouble shooting and analysis

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• A university degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or similar
• Solid expertise in PCB design and layout – prior experience with Altium Designer is a plus
• Good knowledge in embedded C programming and good overall programming skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team
• Analytic and problem-solving skills
• Fluent communication skills in English language
• Spice simulation, Matlab proficiency and lab experience as a plus

We offer competitive salaries and additional benefits based on your performance, experience and qualification. The employment is in accordance with the collective salary and wage agreement for employees of the electrical and electronics industry, employment group G (https://www.feei.at/aktuelles/mindestloehne-und-gehaelter-eei/). The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. We offer a higher compensation depending on your expertise and skills.
