Senior Engineer Test Hardware Board Technology

Design, develop, and standardize cutting-edge test interface solutions, including printed circuit boards (PCBs) and associated test hardware

Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

• Design, develop, and standardize cutting-edge test interface solutions, including printed circuit boards (PCBs) and associated test hardware. These critical components serve as the bridge between Infineon\’s pioneering products and Automatic Test Equipment (ATE), ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
• Analyze product requirements towards functional test solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect design and manufacturing requirements and ensure seamless integration
• Create and maintain 2D mechanical drawings using AutoCAD, including drawing checks and alignment with Infineon standards.
• Integrate test hardware interface requirements into PCB design documentation (interfaces, outlines, mounting, keep-outs, etc.).
• Apply and improve existing company templates, rules, and design guidelines.
• Contribute to PCB design and innovation projects as a project team member or technical contributor.
• Work closely with international partners from test engineering, package development, external suppliers, Infineon production sites, and external test houses

Your Profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (University or University of Applied Sciences) in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• Self-driven, proactive, and delivery-focused team player with a hands-on mindset.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, international, interdisciplinary environment.
• Strong communication skills, structured/systematic working style, and good time management.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, hardware design specifications, and drawings.
• Practical experience with 2D drafting in AutoCAD.
• Basic experience with 3D CAD modeling tools (asset).
• Understanding of PCB design and PCB engineering lifecycle (asset).
• Programming or scripting skills (asset).
• Fluent written and spoken English.
