Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

• Support the day-to-day operations of Infineon’s Public policy efforts in Germany, collaborating closely with the German teams in Berlin and Munich and collaborating with the global teams where relevant
• Assist in the development and delivery of policy strategies and messages aligned with Infineon’s global Public Policy strategy, focusing on German federal institutions, ministries, parliament, and other relevant stakeholders
• Monitor and report on key political and geopolitical developments affecting Infineon’s business and public policy objectives within Germany and develop recommendations to address these developments
• Participate in organizing stakeholder meetings and events, including those with company executives, to facilitate dialogue with Members of the Bundestag and other high-level stakeholders
• Help coordinate Infineon\’s participation in selected German industry associations, ensuring meaningful engagement and contribution
• Engage with German public funding instruments and initiatives supporting innovation, competitiveness, and the semiconductor industry, with consideration of current geopolitical dynamics
• Liaison with other team members working on funding programs and serve as key account to senior leaders within Infineon

Your Profile

• Degree in Political Science, Public Policy, International Relations, Law, Economics, Engineering, or a related field
• Relevant professional experience working with or within German federal institutions, ministries, or parliament; prior engagement with industry associations or public policy organizations in Germany is highly desirable
• Demonstrated understanding of Germany’s political system, Legislative processes, and public funding mechanisms for technology and innovation
• Experience in managing government relations, policy advocacy, or public affairs within the context of the German or European technology sector
• Interest in and affinity for technology and business, including project management skills
• Strong knowledge of current geopolitical trends affecting the semiconductor industry and ability to analyze their impact on German public policy and business interests
• Excellent command of German and English, both written and spoken
