As Senior Software Engineer Factory Automation you will help us modernize production software at our Cegléd site. You’ll build and run scalable full-stack applications, replace legacy tools (MS Access, LabVIEW), and further develop our MES/QM solutions.

Your Role

  • Design and development of full-stack applications (C#/.NET, Angular,React) in a manufacturing environment
  • Replacement of legacy systems (MS Access, LabVIEW) with modern, scalable software solutions
  • Deployment and operation of applications on OpenShift (containerizedenvironments)
  • Implementation and further development of MES and QM system solutions at the Cegléd site
  • Building and maintaining reporting & monitoring dashboards using Grafana and Tableau
  • Database development and optimization with MSSQL, Oracle and PostgreSQL
  • Leveraging AI-assisted development tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot) to boost development efficiency
  • Log management and error analysis using the ELK Stack
  • Independent requirements analysis in close alignment with production and business units
  • Close collaboration and technical exchange with the partner team in Warstein, Germany

Your Profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

Must have

  • Proven full-stack expertise – you're confident navigating the C#/.NET backend landscape while crafting seamless user experiences with Angular or React
  • Database mastery you can rely on – whether it's MSSQL, Oracle, or PostgreSQL, you know how to design, optimize, and scale relational databases with ease
  • Cloud-native mindset – you've shipped real-world solutions using Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift, and you're comfortable owning the full deployment lifecycle
  • Structured & self-driven – you don't just execute tasks, you actively shape them by taking ownership of requirements management and driving work forward independently

Nice-to-have

  • Experience with ELK Stack, Grafana or Tableau
  • Background in legacy application modernization (Access, LabVIEW, VBA)
  • Hands-on experience with AI coding tools (GitHub Copilot,ChatGPT-based dev tools)
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and industrial data structures
  • Experience in agile development environments (Scrum / Kanban)
  • Basic knowledge of IT security in industrial application contexts
  • Soft Skills & General
  • Strong communication skills for collaboration in an international team(DE/EN)
  • Ability to act as a bridge between IT and production
  • German or English proficiency (min. B2) for collaboration with the Warstein team
  • Eagerness to learn and genuine interest in emerging technologies in the manufacturing domain
