Job Description
In this role, you will drive our Internal developer platform (IDP) utilization by leading advocacy efforts, onboarding teams to tools like OpenShift and GitLab, and enhancing the developer experience. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders, track success through KPIs, and create resources to ensure seamless integration and innovation.
In your new role you will:
- Promote the Internal developer platform through demos, workshops, and onboarding materials such as documentation and tutorials
- Build relationships with teams, align platform solutions to their needs, and showcase its strengths
- Gather feedback to improve platform usability and streamline access to tools like pipelines and APIs
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, resolve technical issues, and support seamless onboarding
- Champion DevOps practices, containerization, IaC, and integrate secure development workflows
- Integrate tools like JFrog Artifactory, ensuring secure and efficient artifact publishing and usage
- Work with development, security, and operations teams to align platform goals with technical strategies
- Identify new use cases and ensure its features align with organizational goals
Your Profile
You communicate technical concepts with clarity and enthusiasm, building trust and fostering collaboration in team environments. With a proactive approach to problem-solving, you work effectively in diverse environments and deliver innovative, user-focused solutions.
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- At least 1-2 years of Hands-on experience with platforms like OpenShift, Backstage, and CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, and Jenkins
- At least 1-2 years of experience in pre-sales engineering, customer success, or developer advocacy roles, with the ability to simplify technical jargon
- Familiarity with security tools (e.g., SonarQube, BlackDuck), OAuth, and DevOps practices like IaC and container orchestration
- Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana
- Experience in creating technical documentation, tutorials, and training, with a focus on improving developer experience and utilization
- Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts and build trust with stakeholders, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
