Do you want to shape the way new semiconductor products are designed by applying modern software engineering methodologies and Artificial Intelligence (AI)? Join our Co Design team as a Senior Specialist for Software Development and AI to directly impact the efficiency and accuracy of next generation chip package board co design workflows!

• Develop and support software solutions that enable end‑to‑end chip‑package‑board co‑design flows
• Translate co‑design methodology needs into high‑quality code, ensuring robustness, scalability, and speed
• Develop and deploy AI/ML based software to enhance design and verification efficiency
• Optimize and refactor existing in‑house software modules, applying modern software best practices
• Build intelligent data pipelines to collect and analyze simulation and layout results, enabling data-driven decisions
• Bridge the gap between software and EDA tools by utilizing advanced APIs and scripting interfaces

Your Profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

You remain aware of the big picture even in complex situations, make decisions in uncertain situations, and communicate complex ideas clearly and convincingly. You have the passion and courage to develop creative ideas while respecting diverse perspectives and leveraging their potential.

• A degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, or a similar technical field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in software development, with a strong portfolio in automation or tool development
• Expert‑level proficiency in Python and experience with libraries for data science and AI (Pandas, Scikit‑Learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow)
• A strong interest in „Hardware-Aware“ software development, understanding how code interacts with physical design constraints and simulation engines
• Experience in Linux environments, including shell scripting and handling large-scale data sets in compute farm infrastructures
• Basic knowledge of EDA workflows, and exposure to specialized languages such as Cadence Skill, Synopsys Tcl, or automation languages is an advantage
• A customer‑oriented mindset with the ambition to solve technical challenges for internal co‑design teams
• Fluent English skills (mandatory) and German skills are a big plus
