Senior Specialist for supply chain Logistics (Location: Tokyo)

Job Description
In your new role you will:
Shipping

• Manage and work with a team to maintain departmental and company goals (Delivery performance, quality & costing)
• Support & keeping track on integration project
• Provide relevant data and analysis to the operations team throughout the supply chain
• Facilitate inbound & outbound shipping activities between subcons & distribution Centre(s) activities which includes finish goods receiving

Warehouse

• Oversee 3PL(3^rd party logistic warehouse) operation and collaboration related to Warehouse operation and issue handling
• Troubleshooting of warehouse system transactions and drive solutions with various internal stake holders (IT, planners, etc)
• Coordination with various team for process improvement and efficiency
• Generate report to support operation process, monitoring issues and relevant KPI

Costing

• Prepare cost planning for the respective departments
• Request quotation, issue Purchase Requisition (PR) or Purchase Order (PO) and monitoring the PO consumptions for vendors and subcons
• Billing invoice matching and verification, including work with the respective parties on billing dispute

Your Profile
You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management
• Supply Chain/ Logistics with minimum 5 years of Logistics & Freight forwarder management
• Minimum 2-3 years of Logistics & Freight forwarder management
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
• Good Communication Skills in both Japanese and English
• Team-oriented mindset
