Senior Specialist Pricing
Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role
- Be responsible for executing pricing and pricing support activities across all channels for assigned Greater China accounts and/or product lines.
1. Managing quote requests from sales and distributors based on established pricing guidelines from product lines;
2. Escalating promptly with clear business cases to marketing team for requests beyond specialist limits;
3. Contributing to growing GC revenue and market share by providing business stakeholders with pricing insights based on data analysis and pricing know-how, which is in line with PL pricing strategies;
4. Executing pricing VPAs for OEMs, CMs, and distributors (T&Cs, etc.);
5. Working with both internal and external teams to collect data and close deals quickly;
6. Collaborating effectively within GC and with other Regions, both forprice alignment and best practice sharing.
Your Profile
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed
- Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering or Supply Chain
- Proficient with Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Word.
- Good communications skills, written and verbal, technical and business skills, and a customer service orientation.
- Negotiation skills is a plus.
- Ability to gather and organize large amounts of data.
- Knowledge of products, product positioning and segmentation, and competitive advantages.
- Ability to handle conflicting priorities in an operational environment.
- Ability to quickly ramp on new tools and processes.
- Able to work effectively under pressure and a dynamic market situation.
- Detail-oriented with great follow-up skills.
