Senior Specialist Procurement

Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

• Be a local Buyer for BE PP and BE FPM material
• To manage and drive value added improvement for procurement of Wuxi site BE materials (including material localizations)
• Executes procurement strategies to ensure the long-term, cost-effective supply of Wuxi site BE and FPM materials
• Prepares purchase orders based on approved requisitions and follow up to ensure on time delivery from supplier.
• Executes and drives PROC related projects with the cross functional team
• Enforcement of procurement control via implementation of all relevant procurement processes and methods within Infineon.
• Supplier sourcing, qualification and evaluation according to established supplier management process.
• Drive strategic supplier management program towards achieving overall target for Quality, Cost and Delivery.
• Work with other departments to ensure the direct material supply chain of IFWU
• Executes Other tasks assignd by department head.

Your Profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

• Academy or university degree in technical or business
• Good understanding of principles and concepts in factory material procurement especially in materials (BOM/ F1 material)
• Basic knowledge about semiconductor or electronics industry and its customers advantageous
• Understanding how own work team integrates with the corresponding function.
• Project management experience and experienced in international teams.
• Fluent English skill
• Good communication and negotiation skill
• Basic knowledge in contractual and legals aspects.
• Skilled in SAP system is preferred
• Good work ethics and sense of responsibility, positive personality
