#WeAreIn for jobs that impact everyone’s life. Join the thinkers, builders, and problem-solvers behind tomorrow’s technology. As a Senior Staff Engineer Digital Design for Test on our Research & Development team, you’ll have the opportunity to merge creativity with your technical expertise by shaping the future of technology, driving groundbreaking projects, and bringing new ideas to life. Are you in?
In your new role you will:
- Architect and implement DFT (Design for Test) and BIST (Built-In Self-Test) solutions, to maximize test coverage while optimizing costs
- Execute scan insertion and ATPG (Automatic Test Pattern Generation)
- Analyze test coverages, identify gaps, and drive targeted improvements
- Ensure seamless delivery to the post-silicon phase and provide critical support to minimize silicon bring-up time
- Collaboratively create and refine DFT methodologies and innovations tailored for Infineon
- Work in tight alignment with chip design and manufacturing functions as well as related areas
- Provide technical guidance to DFT and concept engineers, digital designers, and the physical implementation and functional verification teams
You take in information quickly, evaluate it from different points of view, and uncover hidden correlations in it. Moreover, you actively look for the ideal solution and engage in professional debates with the relevant people, instead of accepting rash compromises as well as you feel responsible for your own doing and decisions.
Beyond, you are best equipped for this task if you have:
- A degree in Microelectronic, Computer Science, Physics or a similar qualification
- At least 5 years of professional experience in Design for Test; ideally also in microcontroller architectures and semiconductor technologies
- Comprehensive knowledge of digital Design for Test (ATPG, test coverage analysis, digital verification, scan diagnosis, as a plus MBIST or LBIST)
- Open minded mentality to work with different departments and sites
- A benefit would be experience in project management of small project teams as well as experience in methodology development
- Good communication and presentation skills in a cross-functional environment in English; German would be a plus
