Senior Staff Engineer Systems

As a member in WLAN MAC Coex systems team you will play a key role spanning from development, implementation and analyze results for BT-WLAN coexistence.

Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

• As a member in WLAN MAC Coex systems team you will play a key role spanning from development, implementation and analyze results for BT-WLAN coexistence.
• Development experience on Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Zigbee technologies.
• Good understanding of BT,BLE, WLAN and ZigBee protocols are added advantage.
  a. Design, analysis, development & maintenance of WLAN-BT-ZigBee coexistence.
  b. Pre-Si design verification of Coex interfaces using scripting languages like TCL/python and validate in simulation environment.
  c. Working with various Cross functional teams like WL MAC, PHY systems, Firmware development, BT Stack, BT Firmware team and Hardware design teams
  d. Hands on silicon bring-up
  e. Debugging and solving cross layer customer issues – working across boundaries of WLAN MAC, BT sniffer analysis – while staying focused on the underlying problem.
  f. Understanding and modifying switch control logics between WLAN and BT.
• Your role would also require you to
  a. Identifying issues and proposing design and methodology improvements while driving compliance of existing design flow.
  b. Mentoring and training other team members as necessary.
  c. Creating collateral for internal and external use as necessary.

Your Profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

• Sound basics in wireless communication systems and embedded system design / programming.
• Hands on experience of programming in Assembly language, C
• Good debugging skills in C, using gdb, analyzing crashes using stack trace are essential
• Fair understanding of WiFI debugging tools using Wireshark etc.
• Understanding of Bluetooth sniffer logs are added advantage.
• Familiarity with IEEE 802.11 standards is desirable.
• Knowledge of Tcl/Python/System C would be plus.
• Ability to work with large, global, cross functional team.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
