You are a results-driven Accountant and responsible for the accuracy of the financial information of the assigned entities in AP region to ensure compliance with accounting guidelines, policies and procedures, internal controls, regulatory and statutory requirements.
Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role
- Monthly review of the financial information of the entities assigned and provide insightful analysis and identify key drivers to thefinancial performance.
- Drive presentation to management on the financial position of the entities assigned.
- Responsible for group and local statutory financial reporting; and handling audit matters
- Key person interfacing with internal business stakeholders andproviding guidance on accounting guidelines and procedures.
- Key person interfacing with Shared Services on accounting closingmatters.
- Assist to setup process, internal controls, reporting improvements and efficiency initiatives, leveraging technology and automation tools where possible.
- Support ad-hoc financial analysis and projects for various business needs.
Your Profile
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed
- Degree in Accountancy or equivalent
- 1 to 3 years of accounting experience; familiar with IFRS accounting guidelines
- Analytical, meticulous with strong communication skills and strong team player with a collaborative mindset
- Able to work independently, positive attitude and willingness to take initiatives as well as ownership.
- Proficient in Excel, technology savvy and experience with data visualisation tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
- SAP knowledge is an advantage.
