Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role
- Participate and contribute to requirements elicitation and definition phase of the project
- AUTOSAR, ISO26262 and ISO21434 based microcontroller Device driver development and verification for various peripherals like SPI, I2C, CAN, Ethernet, ADC, Flash, EEPROM, Timers, PWM, etc., of Infineon’s automotive microcontrollers based on TriCore/RISC-V architecture or equivalent.
- Contribute to Product architecture activities
- Conceptualize and institutionalize Development/Verification strategies and engineering practices
- Make key contributions in product architecture, design and verification concepts; play an influential role in technical discussions
- Evaluate change requests to products, conduct analysis and derive impact for planning by team
- Conduct reviews of various artefacts [Requirements, Architecture, Design, Test Specifications/scripts, Quality reports etc., as applicable to the job] and recommend necessary actions
- Be a signoff stakeholder in all phases of the project
- Propose and Institutionalize initiatives
- Own overall product quality
- Mentor and train fellow colleagues
Your Profile
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed
- Education either B.Tech / BE / M.Tech / MS in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Science/Instrumentation
- 10+ years of experience in embedded system software development and verification in C, assembly language
- Exposed to development of software as per a defined software development lifecycle
- Deep knowledge of at least one Microcontroller Architecture (32bit / 64 bit) and multi-core architectures.
- Knowledge of operating systems, virtualization and device driver architectures
- Experience in standards such as AUTOSAR, IEC61508, ISO26262, MISRA is desirable
- Acquaintance with development tool-chains such as Enterprise Architect, Multiple compilers – GNU, Tasking and WINDRIVER
- Good working knowledge of debuggers such as PLS, Lauterbach etc.
- Proven ability to work with standard lab equipment – Oscilloscopes, Logic analyzers, protocol analyzers, power benches etc.,
- Good team player with excellent communication skills with an ability to work in a multi-site work environment demonstrating a sense of leadership, ownership and quality consciousness.
- Ability to work independently on new and advanced topics, analyze change requests, demonstrate proof-of-concept of new features, define guidelines and deploy in large teams
