Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role
- Define state-of-the-art test strategy & test concept for automotive microcontroller products
- Knowledge about Design for Test (DfT) and stress concepts / reliability topics will be a big plus
- Own and maintain accountability for sufficient, cost optimized test coverage at the IP and product levels, including mixed-signal, digital, flash, audio, stress, and high-speed interfaces
- Serve as a key technical resource supporting management in strategic decision-making within the areas of DfT, testing, and cost optimization
- Ensure all test and DFT concepts are designed and implemented in compliance with industry standards, including ISO26262, ISO21434, and AEC-Q100, and other automotive quality and cybersecurity standards
- Drive innovation to optimize test methodology for a high-parallel test environment, balancing test coverage, cost targets, quality standards, and time-to-market demands
Your Profile
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed
- Bachelor\’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, or related fields
- 5+ years of experience in automotive microcontroller testing, DfT, or a related field
- Proven expertise in mixed-signal, digital, flash, audio, stress, and high-speed interface testing
- Familiarity with automotive standards like ISO26262, ISO21434 and product qualification standards (e.g. AEC-Q100)
- Strong understanding of DfT methodologies, test coverage metrics, and cost trade-offs in microcontroller testing
- Deep knowledge of Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) and test engineering practices
- Ability to work in a collaborative, cross-functional, and global environment
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present concepts and solutions effectively
