In your new role you will:
- Analyze and review software requirements and verification criteria to ensure a thorough understanding
- Evaluate and review software architecture from both requirement and end-user application perspectives
- Design, develop, and implement test cases and test scripts for software module validation, considering software requirements, architecture, functional safety methods, and use cases
- Lead test architecture definition and test specification activities, ensuring comprehensive testing strategies
- Validate software for device drivers (e.g., SPI, I2C, CAN, LIN, FR, Ethernet, PCIE, HSSL, and SENT) and safety software in independent/RTOS environments on Infineon\’s automotive microcontrollers
- Develop and institutionalize test strategies, methods, and templates to enable efficient use of tools and test equipment, promoting best practices across the organization

You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- At least 5 years of experience in device driver software testing, with a strong understanding of Agile-like software development life cycles
- Knowledge of interfaces and protocols like I2C, Audio, 2D Graphics, CAN, LIN, or SPI
- Expertise in embedded system software development or validation using C, assembly languages, or other relevant programming languages
- Good understanding of Microcontroller architecture (16/32bit) and real-time systems
- Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and power benches
- Experience in developing and maintaining test automation and continuous integration frameworks
- Scripting skills in languages such as Perl, Python, C#, and others are a plus
- Fluency in English
