Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role
In this role, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end material planning and shipping operations to ensure seamless production flows and optimal inventory levels across our global manufacturing network.
- Plan and control material availability and stock levels to support continuous production operation
- Create and manage shipping requests and coordinate shipment paperwork with customs and forwarders
- Optimize production plans through data-driven analysis and inventory management strategies
- Implement and maintain material and logistics systems for enhanced production logistics
- Manage forecast cycles and participate in cross-functional planning sessions
- Coordinate with international stakeholders including customs, forwarders, and supply chain partners
- Control scrapping processes and maintain accurate basic data across planning systems
Your Profile
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed
You are an analytical problem-solver with excellent communication skills who thrives as a team player in multicultural, cross-functional environments while optimizing production and inventory operations.
- University degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or similar field of studies (must have)
- Basic knowledge and experience in shipping and/or material planning, preferably in automotive or industrial manufacturing industry (must have)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to optimize production plans and manage complex inventory challenges
- Willingness to be internationally mobile and work in an intercultural environment
- Team player mindset with adaptability to work in dynamic, fast-paced manufacturing environments
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with cross-functional and multicultural teams
- Fluency in English and Portuguese – both written and spoken (must have)
