Job Description
In this role, you will drive our Internal developer platform (IDP) utilization by leading advocacy efforts, onboarding teams to tools like OpenShift and GitLab, and enhancing the developer experience. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders, track success through KPIs, and create resources to ensure seamless integration and innovation.
In your new role you will:
- Promote the Internal developer platform through demos, workshops, and onboarding materials such as documentation and tutorials
- Build relationships with teams, align platform solutions to their needs, and showcase its strengths
- Gather feedback to improve platform usability and streamline access to tools like pipelines and APIs
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, resolve technical issues, and support seamless onboarding
- Champion DevOps practices, containerization, IaC, and integrate secure development workflows
- Integrate tools like JFrog Artifactory, ensuring secure and efficient artifact publishing and usage
- Work with development, security, and operations teams to align platform goals with technical strategies
- Identify new use cases and ensure its features align with organizational goals
Your Profile
You excel at breaking down complex technical concepts, making them accessible and engaging for diverse audiences. Your collaborative nature and problem-solving mindset allow you to build strong relationships, navigate challenges effectively, and deliver creative, user-centered solutions.
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- Some experience with platforms like OpenShift, GitLab, GitHub, Backstage, as well as proficiency in CI/CD tools like GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, and Jenkins
- Experience in pre-sales engineering, customer success, or developer advocacy, with the ability to simplify technical jargon and collaborate with diverse teams
- Familiarity with security tools such as SonarQube, BlackDuck, and OAuth, along with expertise in DevOps practices like IaC and container orchestration
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus and Grafana
- A growth mindset focused on improving developer experience and platform utilization, with a track record of creating clear documentation, tutorials, and training sessions
- Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to all audiences, with a focus on collaboration, empathy, and active listening to build trust
- A proactive approach to problem-solving
