In your new role you will:
- Perform mechanical preparation of physical analysis (such as technology or product development or customer returns) as well as imaging with Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) and Energy Dispersive X-Ray (EDX)
- Determine overall analysis strategy (physical analysis steps)
- Report and communicate your results and interface with relevant stakeholders
- Take on analytical support and consulting for product and technology development projects
- Establish analytical capability for new products and technologies
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- Have a Bachelor degree in the field of Physics, Material Sciences or similar
- Idaeally bring know-how in the field of physical methods such as SEM and EDX.
- Ideally have basic knowledge of semiconductor production
- Are felxible and a have quick comprehension
- Are interested in creative problem solving and knowledge sharing within local and global FA team
- Are able to communicate in English and German
- Are willing to work in a 6/3 shift model (morning, afternoon, night)
This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry, at least employment group E (https://www.feei.at/wp-content/uploads/2024/04/minimum-wages-blue-collar-workers-2025.pdf). The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. A higher payment is negotiable depending on your expertise and skills. Furthermore, Infineon offers additional employee benefits.
