Specialist Procurement Engineering (Test Interface Material)

As a technical procurement specialist for Test Interface Material (probe cards, load boards) you will interface to worldwide front end and back end production sites, divisions and R&D sites as well as to external suppliers. Furthermore you will guide and support business unit customers for Test Interface Material applications and design projects. In addition you will work in projects with focus on leveraging cost savings and secure supply of Test Interface Materials.

Job Description
In your new role you will:

• Support global supplier management with focus on performance development (commercial, technical, logistics and quality disciplines)
• Contribute to procurement strategy and target setting (e.g. concept savings and improvement of supply resilience)
• Manage project and order requests independently as well as relevant KPI reporting
• Be responsible for accurate in-time data and document maintenance and reporting
• Independently communicate to stakeholders (internal and external)
• Contribute to material cost optimization and qualification projects
• Provide \’make or buy\‘ decision proposals for testboard procurement projects
• Continuously improve Test Interface Material procurement processes while ensuring compliance
• Establish and maintain strong relationships to internal and external stakeholders

Your Profile
You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• A degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Physics or similar
• Preferably first working experience in PCB design or test engineering within the semiconductor industry (e.g. internship)
• First experience in working in projects
• Good communication skills and a solution-oriented mindset
• A self-motivated team player with the ability to work independently when necessary
• Business fluent in English; German is a plus
