Job Description
In the role of Quality & Reliability Engineer, your daily work will include risk assessment activities; supporting new suppliers/materials’ introduction; renewing current processes; being expert in the production coming lifecycle and reliability topics as well as taking part of problem solving activities.
In your new role you will:

• Manage quality and reliabiltiy-related topics for upcoming changes and improvements of serial products with internal partners; e.g. BE and/or FE organization
• Define strategic qualification plans for transfers, processes or suppliers’ changes as a member of an interdisciplinary team
• Plan, execute and assess the reliability test. Conduct root cause analysis in collaboration with the failure analysis laboratory if necessary
• Actively cooperate with corresponding QM departments from other Infineon locations
• Ensure the reliability of our products by defining qualification methods for future power semiconductor technologies and products
• Take part in risk assessments process and problem-solving activities, as expert and/or moderator

Your Profile
You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• A university degree in the field of physics, material sciences, electrical or mechanical engineering or a related technical field
• Relevant experience, aligned with basic knowledge of semiconductors or electrical engineering /chemistry/ physics
• Knowledge and use of technical statistical methods/programs
• Knowledge on reliability concepts and methods (e.g.: power module)
• Solid knowledge of QM tools, as an advantage
• Excellent communication skills in Chinese and English.
