Staff Engineer Product Application MEMS Sensors (f/m/div)

As a Product Application Engineer, you will support the top players and trendsetters of the consumer electronics market. Being part of our technical marketing team, you will inspire our customers with Infineon’s latest technology, focus on design-wins and support our customers in the successful launch of their products. With this position you will be entering our Technical Ladder: a special career path for those who share innovative ideas, reveal comprehensive technical knowledge, show thought leadership, possess problem solving abilities and are able to create business value.

In your new role you will:

• Closely collaborate with our regional Field Application Engineers (FAEs)
• Drive validation of microphone combinations at our MEMS microphone partners
• Support product development with device characterization
• Prepare and lead quarterly technical reviews with our key customers
• As a technical interface you play a vital role in turning opportunities into business progress
• Run application relevant and customer specific measurements
• Actively support customers during qualification processes
• Support failure analysis with your technical knowledge and problem solving skills
• Capture customer feedback on product performance and limitations, consolidating suggestions for improvement and presenting these to Product Development and R&D
• Creation and maintenance of technical documentation (e.g. datasheet, application notes, fighting guides, and value propositions)
• Support with go-to-market activities for new product launches
• Empower internal and external sales partners with the latest technical and application trends

You are best equipped for those tasks if you have:

• A technical degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or similar
• At least 3-5 years of work experience in Application Engineering, R&D or Product Management
• Deep knowledge in the following fields: MEMS, Analog or Digital ASIC design, Microphones
• Self-drive and willingness to take responsibility within Infineon
• Intercultural competence and advanced communication skills
• Fluent English skills, German is a plus
